About The Author
Danita Dubinsky Aziza is a third generation Canadian who, in 2008, along with her husband, three teenage children and family pet, left her comfy cozy life in Winnipeg, Canada to pursue a lifelong dream of living in Israel. Danita documented her trials of integration in the form of life lessons to provide an appreciation of daily life within Israeli culture and to demonstrate that meeting challenges can provide enormous opportunity for personal growth. Some of her writings were initially published by a Western Canadian online newspaper and were so well received that she went on to self-publish Finding Home: A Journey of Life Lessons in the land of Israel.
Danita began her career as an account manager with an international public relations/public affairs firm and later worked as a race relations consultant with the City of Toronto Department of Parks and Recreation. In 1993, Danita founded Healthy Home Services Inc., which was Canada’s first environmental home product and consulting company devoted to helping individuals struggling with allergies, asthma and chronic illness lead healthier lives. Upon returning to Canada in 2012, Danita worked in the area of marketing for the North American start-up of an Israeli high-tech company. She has enjoyed diverse and satisfying experiences within the non-profit sector both as a professional and volunteer member of numerous boards and committees. She holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Education.
